Southeast & Caribbean Region

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking comment on the draft version of NOAA’s Caribbean Strategy through May 31, 2013. The Strategy is intended to help NOAA:

  • improve internal and external coordination
  • better meet the needs of the region
  • focus NOAA mission efforts
  • increase effectiveness of NOAA leadership in the region, and
  • increase awareness and support of NOAA and partner efforts.

The draft Strategy represents the work of an internal drafting team and has been reviewed throughout NOAA. Now NOAA is seeking constituent review and feedback. All are invited to review the Strategy (approximately 40 pages) and provide comments through an on-line form (see links below). Comments will be accepted through close of business on May 31, 2013.
