Western Region

In recognition of growing regional impacts from changing climate conditions – from the Pacific Anomaly also known as “The Blob”, to the strengthening El Niño – the NOAA West team developed a strategy and implementation plan to collect, Western Region Climate Centerdocument and share information on regional environmental conditions (especially departures from normal)  and impacts on human systems and NOAA mission. This is done through standing monthly webinars and periodic stories highlighting the many ways people and places within the region are experiencing environmental change. To view archived presentations and notes, visit the Western Regional Climate Center website: http://www.wrcc.dri.edu/data-projects/.
