Seagull: New platform for harvesting and serving Great Lakes data
The Great Lakes Observing System (GLOS) has announced the Seagull project, which will unify and redesign current GLOS products (glbuoys.glos.org and portal.glos.org) to enhance user access to real-time readings and visualizations from models, buoys, and weather stations. GLOS, part of the NOAA-funded Integrated Ocean Observing System, is a nonprofit that exists to provide end-to-end data services that support science, policy, management, and industry in the Great Lakes.
