NOAA Live! 4 Kids Webinar Series Brings Science at Home

Ben, 11, logs in to NOAA Live! from his home in upstate New York.

The NOAA Live! Webinar Series is a partnership between NOAA’s Regional Collaboration Network, Woods Hole Sea Grant, and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution that developed during COVID-19-related school closures.

The webinars target students grades 2-8, and feature a different NOAA expert/topic and a moderated live Q&A with participants. These webinars are intended to provide safe online interaction for students with the goal of sharing scientific content, demonstrating possible career paths, giving kids the opportunity to interact with someone outside their home, and providing something fun during COVID- related school closures. All webinars are recorded and placed on the NOAA Live! YouTube Channel with Spanish and English subtitles/captions.
